Bracknell Sub Aqua Club

Free try dives

Hurry...offer for limited period only!

For the month of May 2012, Bracknell Sub Aqua Club will be offering  free try dive taster sessions on Thursday evenings from 8.30pm – 10.00pm. The event is likely to be popular and sessions will be offered on a first-come, first served basis. Prior booking is essential.

A try dive is a taster session which will give you a basic introduction to diving. You will receive an explanation on the equipment and learn some underwater hand signals and safety procedures for your dive. Then you will enter the pool (shallow end first) where you will be shown the basics of diving techniques.

If you are unsure if diving is for you, a try dive is the best way to find out. A try dive may also a good way to refresh your memory if you are a qualified diver who has had a break from diving.

Medical fitness

In order to ensure your safety, we will ask you to sign a form prior to the try dive to confirm that:

  • you are capable of swimming 100 metres freestyle
without the use of a buoyancy aid
  • you are fit and do not suffer from any disqualifying conditions
  • you will comply with the instructions of your try dive instructor.
