Facilities The dive club has exclusive use of the main competition swimming pool (25m length with maximum 3m depth) at Bracknell Sport & Leisure Centre on Thursday evenings between 8.30pm and 10.00pm. After 10.00pm we usually retire to the bar area to plan dives, swap tall stories and generally keep in touch.
The pool is used for try dives and training courses. It's 3m depth at the deep end is ideal to enable students to progress from shallow to slightly deeper water before they progress to open water. The pool is also available for members use. Some come and try out their kit or practice skills or just to have a general splosh around! A couple of lanes are roped off for members who wish to swim or snorkel. Social members may also make use of the swimming lanes if they wish.
The club has a fully equipped lecture room with training aids including laptops and projectors, a Rescusi Anna which is used for rescue skills training and three oxygen sets.
