Dive booking conditions
Listed below are the general conditions which are applicable to all club dives, but be aware that some dives (usually the more adventurous/technical dives) may have additional conditions. If in doubt, contact the Dive Manager or Organiser for further advice about the dive in question.
Always read the conditions of booking before you sign up for a club dive. If you sign up to a club dive, you will be deemed to have read and agreed to the general club dive booking conditions listed below as well as any extra conditions which will be listed when the dive is advertised.

Deposit is payable at time of booking.
- Balance of dive cost is payable in full four weeks prior to the dive date.
- I accept and fully understand that if I am not able to participate in the dive, I am responsible for filling my place with an alternative diver with a dive qualification appropriate for the dive, subject to the approval of the Dive Manager, failing which I am responsible for the full cost of the dive.
- I accept and fully understand the risks and dangers associated with diving and understand and accept that the British Sub Aqua Club, Bracknell Sub Aqua Club, the Dive Manager, Assistant Dive Managerl, Diving Officer and any other Official of Bracknell Sub Aqua Club are not liable for any loss or injury I may sustain whilst diving where I participate at my own free will accepting full responsibility for my health and safety.
- I confirm that I am a current member of the British Sub Aqua Club (or have third party insurance), hold the minimum dive qualification indicated for the advertised dive (or equivalent) and am fit to dive and hold a current medical certificate with no restrictions, and undertake to keep these current at the time of the planned dive.
- By adding my name to the dive list I accept and acknowledge the above terms and conditions. By adding my name as a reserve I am not committed to the dive, merely to being given first refusal should there be a cancellation.
- I accept that if the maximum planned depth and/or the minimum qualification has to be altered to fill the boat I am still responsible for the cost of my place unless I can fill my place with an alternative diver.
- I accept that if the last space is not filled by the Dive Organiser, the cost will be divided up and paid for by the remainder of the people on the list. If the second to last space is not filled, this will be paid for by the club. The dive will have to be cancelled if more than two of the spaces remain unfilled which, depending on the timescales, could result in losing my deposit.
- I understand that for any club dives I do over 30m in depth, an alternate air source must be carried.
Please note:
The advertised price of club dives is for your place on the dive boat only (unless otherwise stated). You are responsible for arranging and paying for your own transport to and from the dive site and any accommodation you may require. Lunch is not necessarily provided on day boats, so check with the Dive Manager if you are unsure.
